DJ.ABILITY, aka Peter Bernard, started his DJ journey in 1984 at just 13 years old. 💿🎚️ He first got his hands on Technics 1210s at a youth club in Warsop, Mansfield, where he fell in love with hip-hop, breakdancing, and the raw energy of underground music. 🕺🔥
By 15, he was already playing Viberlite events in Mansfield, thanks to a break from his friend Tim Bailey. That first taste of club DJing set the foundation for what would become a legendary career spanning decades. 🏆🎶

Pirate radio was the heartbeat of DJ.ABILITY’s journey. 💥 He was part of Essence FM, alongside DJ Fraudster, and even ran his own pirate station from his council flat in Millmead, Margate. 🏠🎤

DJ Titch’s love for music started early—at just 13 years old 🎧, he was already experimenting with mixing tracks in his mum’s flat 🏠 in South East London. Surrounded by the heartbeat of the city 🎶 and a deep curiosity for sound, he was instantly hooked on the decks.
What began as a bedroom passion soon turned into a serious calling 🎵. By the time he was 14, DJ Titch landed his first-ever gig at Temple Bar on Walworth Road 📍—a massive achievement for someone so young and a clear sign of things to come.
From there, his journey took him across Kent 🚗, where he sharpened his skills playing sets at venues like Bar 121 🎼 and DV8 🔊. Each show allowed him to evolve, learning to read the crowd and shape the night’s energy with precision.
Titch didn’t just want to DJ—he wanted to be part of something bigger 🌟. That led him to join collectives like Funk Phenomenon 💥 and Released the Funk 🕺, where creativity thrived and the vibes were always electric ⚡.
He also began to step into the role of event promoter 🎯, curating iconic nights like Girls on Decks 🎧👩🎤 and Juicy Loons 🍉🔥. These events gave a platform to female DJs and brought something fresh to the scene—fun, fearless, and full of funk.
